Education

Fired by an ideal that education continues in different guises throughout life, Rachel has written extensively on the subject for the Times Educational Supplement, The Independent and The Guardian.

Subjects she has covered range from anti-smoking education with Liverpool under-sevens, to the impact of Moslem head teachers on UK schools and an analysis of how higher education has changed.

She also has experience in medical education, as head of communications for the UHSM Academy - an organisation providing a national lead on all aspects of hospital-based education - operating from Wythenshawe Hospital, Manchester.

Areas of education work she is happy to undertake include:

• Writing and editing articles for national, regional and specialist media
• Communications consultancy - launching products, organisations and projects
• PR
• Brochure, case study and newsletter production
• Website advice and material
• Conference coverage
• Events
• Translation, interviewing and working in French.
